OUR PROCESS

We start by removing the tyres, wheel weights, valves and centre caps.

The wheels are then put in an acid bath to remove any current paint leaving a bare alloy wheel.

All prep work is now carried out which includes kerb damage, corrosion, buckles and cracks. We TIG weld deep kerbing then smooth it out to replace the metal lost when the wheel impacted the kerb.

The wheels are then sandblasted before starting the powder coating process.

We use a powder coat primer followed by a waterbased sprayed application of the colour, then finish with a super high gloss acrylic powder coat lacquer which gives the finish of a wet sprayed clearcoat but the durability of powder coat. We use high-quality paints and powders used by many car manufacturers.

Tyres are then refitted to the wheels with new valves and balanced.
